    Paradigm you should check out the Blue Room at the Kansas City Jazz District. They have open mics the third Tuesday of every month. $100 prize. Met you at the slam in Seattle the other night. Also, I know a dude who puts on open mics in Salina Kansas and pays guest speakers.
